I didn't get it from steam. When I installed it, it created a program group on the Windows Start menu called 'Crossout'. In that program group is the uninstall app. Posted July 10, 2018. 1. You do this in your Gaijin account, not via Steam. Go to crossout.net, log in, click your name, then Profile, then log in again if asked (lol?), then go over to Security and hit Account protection. Options should be in there. There may be a faster way, but this will get you there.
2. It's just a randomly generated ID to link your Steam account to Gaijin through some joint attempt to unify user bases for convenience and profit. I'm going to email Gaijin on my main account and ask about the Steam ID thing with Crossout. Maybe they can use their admin powers to link it to my main email or something.
